If you’re anything like me, you love the closure that arrives at the end of the year. A moment to stop and see where you’ve arrived and what you’ve achieved.
I’ve completed various end-of-year reviews and realised that not all of them offer profound epiphanies. So, I decided to serve you with some questions that have given me real revelations and made me aware of my truest values.
You can watch the video to hear some of my personal reflections on the best decisions I made and the biggest challenges I’ve faced.
Below, you’ll find the entire list of questions to complete on your own. Make a cup of hot chocolate, sit in front of a window to enjoy the view, cover yourself with a blanket, use a pen and paper, and cosy up. The best epiphanies come from a relaxed presence where you can hear your truest wisdom.
Here we go.
The ten questions to ask at the end of 2024
What were the most important decisions you made in 2024?
What were some positive surprises you didn’t see coming at the beginning of the year and how did they impact you?
What were the challenges that made you grow?
Who did you have the best conversations with in 2024?
What or who helped you feel hopeful?
Were there any pivotal moments that profoundly changed something in you?
What activities, beliefs or thought patterns served you the best?
What activities, beliefs or thought patterns would you be willing to let go of as you move on to the next year?
Who will you surround yourself with to help you see beauty and hope in life?
Write or visualise the most beautiful version of the person you will be at the end of next year and the life you’ll be living.

On a more personal note, one of the best decisions I made was getting our rescue dog Zeus. He has also been one of the biggest challenges this year and taught me so much about the value of patience, routines, psychological safety and appreciation for life. Every morning he reminds me that life is really a joy and an adventure.

Let me know how the questions resonate with you and feel free to share any epiphanies in the comments below or via email.
Let’s end the year with a sense of completion and gratitude because hope is not given to us but created within and by us.
With kindness,
Aurora
